Writing across New Zealand

As part of a programmed to encourage children to write and share their writing with others.  We have been given a buddy class, which is part of a small rural school in South of Whangarei.  The school has around 26 children.  This week we received their courier bag with a poster covered in interesting information about the class and 32 postcards.  Next week, we will have ours in a courier post envelope ready to be picked up from school and delivered to Waiotiri Primary School.  

This week we excitedly opened the pack and read the postcards covered in metaphors and put the puzzle together.  We are putting it in our classroom window so everyone can see both sides of the postcards.
